This is why almost all problems in the newborn period can be solved at the breast or on a parent's body. This talk will cover the basics of reading a baby's cues and how to respond to them in the first 3 months of your parenting career.

Eva Bild is a Childbirth Educator, Doula and Breastfeeding Educator with 17 years of experience. She is the owner of the Mothering Touch Centre.

Judy Dryden Judy Dryden

Judy will cover the basics of choosing a child seat, how to fit the child in the child seat, steps for installing the child seat in the vehicle, and information about available resources for families. It's easier than you think once you have the basics.

3:00pm - Keeping your sanity while raising a child with special needs
As the mom of a child with autism, Lori knows first hand how easy it is to lose yourself and your sanity in trying to meet the day to day needs of a child with special needs. But experience has taught her that the only way to survive is to stake claim to some "me time" and some "us time" every day. Lori will share her experience in raising a child with special needs and will give suggestions to other parents on how they can meet the needs of their child while still finding time for themselves, their partner and their other children.

Lori Brienesse-Frank is the founder of Apples to Oranges Consulting - Special Diets for Special Kids. Lori supports parents in transitioning their child with autism, ADHD or other related childhood disorder to special diets that may help improve the child's symptoms.
